Gold Declines, Poised for Weekly Loss

Gold prices saw a slight decline during today's trading session on Friday, heading towards a weekly loss.

In the spot market, gold dropped by 0.3% to $4462.22 per ounce by 00:49 GMT, marking a decline of about 1.6% since the start of the week.

American gold futures for August delivery also fell by 0.4% to $4489 per ounce.

In the precious metals market, silver decreased by 0.6% to $73.45 per ounce, while platinum dropped by 1.3% to $1876.58. Palladium fell by 1.5%, reaching $1301.25 per ounce.
