On Monday, gold prices remained close to their all-time high, nearing the $3600 mark. This surge is supported by growing expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve will cut interest rates this month, following last week's weaker-than-expected jobs report.
In spot transactions, gold stabilized at $3586.81 per ounce by 0121 GMT.
The U.S. gold futures for December delivery dipped 0.7 percent to $3626.10.
As for other precious metals, silver's spot price edged down 0.3 percent to $40.84 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum decreased by 0.1 percent to $1371.65, and palladium fell 0.2 percent to $1107.70.
