Gold Holds Steady Near Two-Week High

Gold prices remained relatively stable today, following a notable rise to a two-week high in the previous session. Market participants are closely assessing the likelihood of a U.S. interest rate reduction in December, amidst mixed signals from the Federal Reserve.

Spot gold experienced a minor decrease of 0.2 percent, trading at $4154.09 per ounce. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures for December delivery fell by 0.3 percent, reaching $4151.20 per ounce.

Among other precious metals, silver saw a decline of 0.9 percent in spot trading, valued at $52.89 per ounce. Conversely, platinum prices increased by 1.4 percent to $1611.04, while palladium dropped 0.9 percent, ending at $1409.87 per ounce.
