Gold and Precious Metal Prices Soar

Gold prices rose today, rebounding from a more than a month low in the previous session. The spot price of gold increased by 0.5 percent to 4541.39 dollars per ounce. Additionally, the U.S. gold futures for June delivery climbed 0.4 percent to 4550.70 dollars.

As for other precious metals, the spot price of silver went up by 0.4 percent to 73.03 dollars per ounce. The price of platinum advanced 1.3 percent to 1970.85 dollars, and palladium saw a 1.2 percent rise, reaching 1497.91 dollars.
