Gold Prices Stabilize While Other Precious Metals Rise

Gold prices remained stable in spot transactions today, yet they are on track to record a weekly decline due to rising oil prices and growing inflation concerns.
The gold price in spot transactions remained unchanged at 4622.41 dollars per ounce after having increased by more than two percent in the previous session. American gold futures for June delivery rose by 0.1 percent to reach 4635.10 dollars.
For other precious metals, spot silver prices increased by 0.8 percent to 74.34 dollars per ounce. Platinum went up by 0.1 percent to 1987.55 dollars, and palladium saw a rise of 0.3 percent bringing it to 1528.39 dollars.
