Gold Prices Surge Amid Diverging Trends in Other Precious Metals

Gold prices increased in spot transactions on Tuesday, while other precious metals showed mixed performance.

Gold in spot transactions rose by 0.5% to reach $4757.59 per ounce by 00:50 GMT. Additionally, U.S. gold futures for June delivery increased by 0.8% to record $4768.20.

Silver in spot transactions increased by 0.2% to reach $86.27 per ounce. Meanwhile, platinum decreased by 0.2% to $2127, and palladium declined by 0.2% to $1506.34.
